For your pleasure my Strawberry shortcake outfit in good quality photo with good lighting.
For those who did not catch it before, this is an example of what a budget lolita looks like. The total outfit cost $88
This skirt needed a lot of alteration. $10 from No Relation. It originally was a square dance skirt which means it was a circle cut. I also got it a few sizes larger than I so when trimmed down would fit better. Cut off the sides to give it more square shape, pinched it up a few inches to make it shorter, replaced bad lace that had bad satin ruffle with ivory cotton lace, and added zipper to back. The strawberries are flocked! So soft and fuzzy!
Blouse I got on ebay for 10 dollars. A under tanktop is needed for cover, $2. Extra ribbon to complete look. Extra fabric from skirt alteration was used to make a rectangular headpiece (not worn here). $1 stockings, $5 shoes from salvation army. Natural hair.
Most expensive parts, $30 bodyline bloomers and $40 Sam’s petti which I use for almost EVERY outfit I have.
