I threw a little get-together at my place over the weekend and decided to do a “Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger” party wings set-up, each with one of my home-made sauces. It was….marvelous. ;D

any power ranger/sentai fans that are big into toy collecting? i want to start collecting Ranger Keys along with the Gokaiger Mobirate morpher. i’ve seen a few morphers on amazon, all varying prices, but they all look the same. is there one that’s better than the other? is there a place most fans get their sentai merch?
there are two (and a half) types of mobirates. I prefer the original (green box) because it’s screen accurate in color. The Legend one has more sound (was made after the show and movies where finished) but is gold (blue box). Legend has the Christmas ranger sound.
The korean knockoff is cheaper but has some random dumb sounds like “CAPTAIN ADVENTURE” instead of “GOKAIGER” WTF?!?!
Amazon is over priced ($80), but the cheapest you can find it is $50 (ebay) because that’s how much it cost in japan. I’ve personally got my eye on a $48 Dollar one but I’m going to wait a while to see if They will make an american verson for Super Megaforce (see here). Of course the american version wont have all the sounds though
Keys also cost less if you buy in bulk/sets.
Also there are three types of keys, Deluxe (normally comes in pack or loose 2nd hand), Candy box (single in box, has to have stickers put on legs), and the other one (I forgot what they’re called, it’s a japanese word) that has to be put together with a chest sticker.

So I’ve watched the first two episodes of Gokaiger. And I have to wonder how Saban is going to pull off the fact that the Goranger keys are used in the first episode. And I love the Gokai team way more in just two episodes than the Megaforce team in nine.
Also, does anybody know where to find a English sub of episode three?
1) Gokaier is 50 eps long where as Super Megaforce will be only like 10 or 20. You can cut off A LOT of footage for it to make sense in America
2) saban doesn’t give a fuck about the japanese show. For example Gosaiger are ANGELS from a HEAVEN WORLD protecting earth and looking over cute kids. Megaforce are just some random highschoolers… fighting random aliens. yeah…. And guess what? They’re not changing the actors for Gokaier! So those bootleg boring megaforce guardians will… have a power up where they turn into… pirates… yeah…
3)Facebook is where it’s at. A lot of different pages have them. Just google “facebook gokaier ep _”
Sometime it gets a little annoying, all these beggers/poor people all over the city. Yeah I understand you’re in a bad situation but I’m not rolling in cash either. Most of us are wage slaves that only make enough money to house and feed ourselves, not much is left over to spread around.

Part of feminism is to dismantle gender roles and gendered expectations, and part of that is breaking down this cultural myth that boys are “tough” and that its ok to diminish physical and psychological abuse against them.
The entire fact that male genital mutilation is accepted and female genital mutilation is not is the product of racism, white privilege, and gender roles that dictate that boys can “handle it” while girls certainly can’t.
